It is the new yr eve but im alone to celebrate... (not entirely alone but not with my loved ones).
I M STILL IN OFFICE. Suck!!! !! Tot can go off early… since it is a special day but we still need to finish our stuffs b4 goin… my bf is outside, celebrating with his frnds. He got invited me to go along... but im stuck HERE. Sick …, man… I reali hate this job. No freedom, no early log off for special days except work work… like slave to money, to company. Tire.~~
Budget... or ....Saving, these are the thoughts pondering in my mind.
Saving money for wedding... cut down in shopping, clothes, shoes, bags (my fave) n any luxury expenses /indulgences.
or go for Budget wedding.. no banquet (just a simple gathering of families) / no album?? photography/ video, no wedding gown just a simple rom? Save for the new hse, hope it can come faster or til we saved enough for renvo?
both are concerned for money... required hard work n effort.

Im back in BKK again! It's seem not long ago i had been here (2yrs). Above this photo, is a small pillow i bought from Korat (another rural city of thailand). It's actually a wedding gift from the bride's mother (my bf n i go BKK this time; main purpose is to attend his gd friend wedding; the groom). In fact, i exchanged it with this; a more brightly coloured one. hehehhahah.... Now my mum is using it.
Yah..., alot of things had been changed. the city is filled with alot of tourists, just like me n my bf. It is almost as much as the locals. Even the prices i notice had been hiked high up much more than b4, places which i had used to considered great buy, now had just become reasonable. DuNO kNOW is it i put too much hopes on it...like gd shopping, cheap finds! nnn... most of all, live like king!!!
NOw no more, unless u willingly to part yr money more too... even the taxes go up... sigh...

Not only many shoes, there are bags, clutches n shades, but also many crowds, the sale attendants are all bz taking out shoes for trying. The bags' design look like replicate of the branded gds. Im aiming a pair of red hot shoes (maybe heels) I'm sure every ger got a dream to own at least one pair of red heels ..mm..mm..PVC.. .. Shiny? Seem to 'in' rite now cos im seeing alot on the streets now.
Recently, there is a JOHN LITTLE SALE (20% STOREWIDE!!) COOL!!! LOTS n lots of things can buy like lingerie, foot wears, clothes, cosmetics, perfumes, skincare pdts etc, n so many more.... im spoilt for choices.. ... LAST FOR A MTH.
Time to stock up my bras again... heheehhe... i always buy them during sales (lots of it to last for the next sales) Strapless ones are my fav, tis time round, i need to buy more push up ones too. ** Recently, notice a colleague wearing one (damn slutty, man!! showoff. I must say that must be a gd one cos reali make hers look so big, especially from side view. This reali make me turn **green** the way she moves around flirting **vomit** Everyone shld know they are fake ones cos one day they appear one day they dun... FROM A TO C IS TOO MUCH!! I just cant turn away the challenge. I dun think I will lose to hers as i got more 'assets' than hers... bitch...
Oh there is also a ISTEAN renovating sale @ TM. WOW.. is it GREAT!! Up to 70%, many dresses are selling at very low prices, cost abt 10+. And some branded clothes for their top example is selling at 15+, i manage to salvage some. heheehha I reali enjoy this mth!!!
Sigh... ... my job can be quite tiring, as i need to work for long hrs n get up early for the next working day. going off from work at 10+ or 11pm is norm for me, there is once i went hm at 2am... n i still need to get up early for the next morn cos it is a weekday
my job got ups n downs... although i work til quite late, i can claim 'ot' + plus transport at certain hrs. IF no OT, my BASIC is damn pathetic!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Lately my company goin for major "shfiting" not onli in workload n also in location.
After afew days of getting used to my new hairstyle, i feel reali great!!! Thanks to my colleague!! Great ger~! At first, im not used to it cos of the long fringe cover my forehead n threatened to cover my eyes. But when i returned to work the next day, most of them say i look so much younger hehhahahh that great!!! Now i look at mirror, its' NICE!! I can wear mre cute, girlish clothes, need to change my wardrobe!!! Even my bf comments it is gd, refreshing than my "old" look.

By her recommendation, i went to her hairstylish... (required booking leh!!!), turn out to be ok, reasonable price, consider it located at orchard; far east sq.
My 3rd weekend, i spent it for a lazy afternoon gathering by the ex colleagues, to catch on "goings-on" of everyone... wow.. info gathering i would say...
Fri, i go to my bf hse to welcome his homecoming!!! YA!!YAYA!!! Hopping anxiously for his return... hooray!
Today it touches on fashion sense; baggy jeans with revealing underpants, is becoming fad all over the countries. At first, i tot the guys buy a bigger size of jeans so to create this fashion. Later then i notice the guys are buying the actual sizes, its just that there is abit of cloth sewn on top of jeans t0 create a false view of "reveaing underpants" just like some of our tops that look like two pieces but in fact onli one. hehahah that's funni. Nt everyone can carry this look well, one must tall cos baggy jeans make the person look short, not for skinny ones also. sometimes i think they help in sweeping up the pavements. It seem like London is frowning on this sense of fashion, by making a stand against it, this prokes racial problem (Wow.. that big? serious) cos it originated from the black hip-hop culture.
I agree with the female writer; quote' abt the current vogue in female clothing; sticky-out smocks with big round buttons.. induce adult women to look like toddlers again in search of nearest playarea' Acting cute n sexy at the same time? In fact even my mum say retro is in today, the clothes on the shop racks are used to like the designs she wore when she was a teenage. I should have ask my mum to keep her old clothes or i should start collect my old clothes so during my daughter time, i could just let her to wear haaheehah... There is a hip of vintage cloth like clothes from yr grandma times, ya should ask my grandma to keep her old clothes too so i could wear but never ask me to wear someone's vintage clothes (someone who may be dead alreadi, a dead stranger)
She also mention abt the trend of the very hip low waist jeans for ladies, i personally dun like it, cos neither i had a fablous body to showoff nor i wan ppl to stare at my cleavage of my bottom, unlike the guys of baggy jeans, gers fashion is flaunt their cleavage not only top but also bottom too....
It's Saturday today. I wake up early, been along time since i wake up early during wkends eversince this job started (as it start with long working hrs, i almost burned my wkends just sleeping n lazing at my hm than going out)

As Im on my way of my journey, i happened to see stacks of TODAY paper appear infont of me. i quickly grab my share (kaisu), heehhahaha more like a habit i picked on my wkdays as there is always a rush of madness in morn. If i pass the "golden minutes", that day i had pass my days with no latest news or info. It is not that i advertise with TODAY, it is just that we need to update our knowledge daily in our lives, n its free, why not (im not blessed with internet in my workplace, so newspaper has become my morn ritual).

Students from private sch should benefit of concession rates.. Which i totally agree with BOTH HANDS OK. With so many JCs around in a small piece of land like SG, there's bound to be limited entry in local public univer (which i counted onli 3; NTU, NUS n SMU)
Those with A-level, there is no point of telling them to go out to work with miserable pay offers n those who want to upgrade their studies, a fierce competition is goin here. It is HARD to get in + several obligations, left with no choices; there will be private institutions. In fact, it had been a "IN" things recently for the past few yrs. Im one of them, alot of ppl who graduate from poly is not satisfy with just a diploma (guess its from Asian roots or blame it on our upbringing) Paper chase is FAD!
Private institutions come with so many choices, freedom n lesser citeria.. of cos this also come with a pricey cost : LOTS of CASH! Unlike local ones; can be pay by cpf, private uni want hard cold cash ready. Its nt that we r rich but stuck with no alt, we chosen the private ones. As for my case, local uni didnt offer much choices n i need to study full time. To balance btw studies n money, i decide with studying parttime in private ones (so that i could earn some money while i study)
I quit my work during my last yr of my course to fully concerate, my savings dip the lowest pt with rising prices of transport n food n fees of cos, im prepared. but at the same time, i cant help wondering how my fellow classmates (those are fulltime as a student) fare.
i agree with the person who point this out in the papers; everyone should given with equal chance even with the minority group like the fulltime students in private uni.
This two wks had been passing veri slowly, as i had been veri anxious for my results.
I was told results would be out on Mon, at the last min i was informed by the email from my sch it was postphoned to the next day, Tues. Curses n Swears kept appearing in my mind as i think it must be the sch can't keep up the pace of updating the results (that y it was late)
I waited til 12am, hoping it to be out, still no news. At noon, i kept asking my friends to chk for me (cos no internet access at my side), the system "HANGS"!!!
My mood swings had been going up terribly while im pondering how i fared during the exams, dread with worry.

I'm more interested in the shimmery eye makeup on the girl in studio (last saturday) where kelvin put this shimmering liquid white thing on her eye lids first then tap around her eyes to spread it and then he tap it below her eyes to give it some shimmering effects as well before finally putting on some sky blue eyeshadow.
Eye makeup pdt, glitter, blinkling n eyeliner, lip gloss... oil control liquid foundation or aqua ones.. There have also loose power in pen brush form so convenience 2 type; peach n strawberry come in flavour and smell. It's refillable.

It is Monday... been back 3 days... sigh... a bit tired.. Those with me are sick...maybe due to harsh conditions in china.. Too Heaty. i definitely become darker, n my skin condition become worse....dehydrated... not enough hardworking with my moisture.
wow...need to work harder more to get back my original condition. Luckily didnt gain any weight .... after so much oily stuff back there... i sure dun miss there... i do miss the ppl there.. especially a young kid... im totally taken in with him... he is so smart...although he is 12 (he is at a small side), i treat him like my kid... wish i got a kid like him very clever one.
i went for the movie transformers yesterday sunday. it was so damn crowded... fully booked, i ended with late nite movie abt 9 pm something. (i went to buy abt 3pm something).
It is great stuff the movie. Duration abt 2 hr a bit more, a comedy i shld say...veri funni, talking from the a side of a teenage guy, who is a smart Alec. heard they will come out in series of transformers... but from what i seen the movie, it seem to have a nice ending already....wonder how they continue.
It had been so long... i sure loved Singapore, its convenience, aircon buildings, its shopping centres.... n so much more.
Been away for a week but it seems so long (never did i miss here so much when im on trip, guess it is because it is not reali a vacation to me). im at the rural state of country, surrounded by elders; had to watch my manners n behaviour.
When i reached the airport, it is so small n outdated like our old bus terminal with onli a few flights. (0nli tiger airways n some local airlines using) 4 hours flight reali seem a torture to me. after that, we still had to travelled another 1.5 hr then we reached the homeland. oh it is night (early nite) but the place had no street lamps so veri dark plus this season is terrible ho0t this yr. even with the fan, is not much use. Everything there so ancient. i gave up living in there, luckily i was grouped with the youngsters, the folks know how pampered we are, decided to let us stay at one of relatives' house(which is in the city area) n did i mention his place got aircon...wwow...luxury...im so sick.
The first few days began with a ritual... it is long n tiring, all folks are veri helpful. the days usually ended with a dinner gathering with the villagers. i cant rem all of them as they look alike and they all began with the same surname.
After all the days there, im sick of their meals (always chicken in meals, not much choice. n goose, they like goose than duck; guess it is much better. their pork cannot make it; always got a smell, it makes me gags) There is once i saw with my own eyes they kill the hen....make me vomit...so pitiful... i vow never eat chicken at there...but that doesn't last long as i faced with little choices at mealtimes. Their dishes are always so oily but surprise the people are slim.
China ppl reali loved dogs, they kept it as pets. (always tot they had dogs in their meal) The dogs veri gd looking but of course nt purebred.
Hainese ppl reali love their chicken to be steamed white, that goes together with their special sauce. But i veri much prefer our sg favour.
the city in hainan is veri small, even though im a stranger in that place. But there is no fear, cos everyone speak Chinese. i do go some of the places of interest there, c the biggest guanin situated at the far end of the beach abt 108m. visit some of the factory stuff, their home make is famous in coconut n coffee.
im reali glad to be back in sg!!!! ;)
Finally, it came (the whole package). As u can c it, its all brand new. I had been ordering recently from online these few times... hehhaha... always cant wait for its arrival.
Seeing it in the new clear plastic packaging, i jt cant wait to rip it off, feel the material. To even have a closer look at the design n the material, comparing with the photos.
Of course, i buy from reputable sellers (can be trusted; recommended!!!) the gds are exact to photos displaying on the web (with measurements taken).
Now after exams, im back with another force; that is looking for a job.
It had becoming a routine to me. looking through newspapers, searching / finding a suitable one. Getting all my docus ready in order n duplicate photocopies with my recent passport photos, im armed for interviews. In fact, there are several interviews abt one each day if not twice. But failed. Sigh....
At the same time, im worry for my results, im desperate with hope i could graduate this year(no more study...til late...coping with work n studies; TOUGH!!!!)
I also make use of the time to catch my old collection of series drama. Wasting my time.
A few more days, i will be goin overseas; not that i wanted (To CHINA!!!!! Not the dream DESTINATION I EVER DREAMT OF!!! WOW!!! not veri high...somemore it is a rural countryside; hainan) In fact, 3 more days to go 22 june this fri, im flying off. NVM, the trip is fully paid by somone, so im there as a paid companion for god's sake. recently been hearing bad news of china, regards of bird flu, pig sicknesses..... never i was so interested in the news broadcast, after that, i got worried. With the terrorism fear goin on, airport security tightened so much... especially to fluids...wow there goes my mineral water bottle.
WISH ME GOOD LUCK!!! Goosh!!!, i reali need that!
Garlic Butter pasta
(1/3 cup of butter , garlic salt , a SMALL drop of milk , pasta)
First of all get a pot and put some water in it. Let it boil for 4-10 minutes and put raw pasta in it. Let it cook till soft and not raw, drain the water and put the pasta in a bowl.
Get a pan and put butter in it let it melt then add a SMALL drop of milk to the melted butter.
Add some garlic salt and mix it all together, then mix sauce with pasta.
Simple recipe n sauces
1- Alfredo sauce
Ingredients: 1 cup whipping cream, 1/4 cup butter, 1 egg, 1/2 cup fresh, grated Parmesan cheese, 1 garlic clove, 1 tsp parsley
Directions: Heat the cream, butter and egg mixture over medium heat until hot. Add the garlic and parsley before slowly melting the Parmesan cheese into the mixture. Pour the sauce over cooked pasta or other optional ingredients, such as chicken, shrimp, broccoli, mushrooms or just about anything else you like.
2- Tomato sauce
Ingredients: 3/4 cup chopped onions, 2 garlic cloves, 6 cups chopped tomatoes, 3 tbsps olive oil, 3/4 cup dry red wine, 1/4 cup shredded carrots, 1/4 cup chopped parsley, 1 tsp salt n sugar, 1 cup sliced fresh mushrooms
Directions: Heat olive oil in a large saucepan over medium heat. Add the onion and cook until tender. Stir in the garlic, tomatoes, wine, carrots, sugar, and salt. Bring sauce to a boil. Simmer, uncovered for one hour, stirring frequently. Add mushrooms; cook until sauce is thick, about 20 minutes. Serve over spaghetti.
3- Pesto sauce
Ingredients: 1 cup packed fresh basil leaves, 1/2 cup fresh parsley, 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese, 1/4 cup pine nuts, 1 large garlic clove, 1/4 tsp salt n olive oil
Directions: Combine basil, parsley, cheese, nuts, garlic, and salt in a food processor. Turn the machine setting to low, slowly add olive oil and blend until thick. Cook and drain the fettuccine and add the pesto sauce. Pesto is also fabulous with chicken, shrimp or broccoli.
4- Bolognese sauce
Ingredients: 1/2 lb ground beef n pork, 1/2 cup chopped onion n mushrooms, 2 garlic cloves, 1 can tomatoes puree n tomato sauce, 3/4 cup dry white wine, 1/2 tsp salt, 1/2 tsp dried, crushed rosemary, 1/4 tsp red pepper n black pepper
Directions: Cook beef, pork and onion til meat is browned. Add the mushrooms n garlic, cook til tender. Drain the excess liquid. Stir in tomatoes, tomato sauce, wine, salt, rosemary, red pepper, black pepper. Bring to boil, reduce heat and cover. Simmer for 15 minutes, stirring occasionally. Serve over spaghetti.

watch the latest drama 花样少年少女 by S.H.E Ella, not bad in her acting. Hear her sis in law is a director or produer of it. Of cos the male lead had caught my eye...wow(he is one of the taiwanese pop grp, from brunei)_ too bad the show is quite short n weird ending. I end up watching it all on youtube cos the dvd come in quite late in sg..especially part 3.
I had quit my job, its a difficult decision (btw financial n study) then something bad come by n happen...sigh...(dun wan to tok abt it)... Too stress from study...this yr i take mre subjects cos last yr i fail badly...right now i will begin my life as a full time student... days are long til my exam in mid may... n my results comes in mid-last sept.
HOPE EVERYTHING WILL TURN OUT RIGHT AFTER ALL FOR ME!!!!
