How To Create a Double Eyelid With Glue

To create a double eyelid with glue, you will need:
• Eyelid glue
• Prongs

1. Start with a clean, dry face. You want your eyelid area to be free of oil. This will help the glue to stay on longer.
2. Using the prongs that came with your eyelid glue, push in slightly above the lash line to find your natural crease. This where you’ll be applying the glue.
3. Paint the double eyelid glue along your natural crease area. Apply horizontally along the lid, with the middle directly over where you want the crease to be. Use enough to cover all the way along the eye. Wait around 30 seconds for the glue to get tacky and clear.
4. When the glue is almost dry, use the prongs to create a double eyelid. Push inwards with the prongs until the crease is shaped to your liking. There is no single right way to do this, just follow your eye shape and go along until you’re satisfied with the look.
5. Adjust your look by opening and closing the eye and using the prongs. If necessary, apply a thin second coat of double eyelid glue. This is most common for people who have thick lids.

Bad side of it, it might be a permanent solution although some ppl mentioned after prolong use of it can create crease. (It takes skills to prefect it.) some might irate yr skin too.

This yr mooncake festival

I tone down my spenditure on it, broke hehahah.
Anyway can’t eat much, need to cut down the intake of carbohydrates.
This yr round, I also find that the some mooncakes are repeating n not all is not nice in tasting.
Mooncakes not longer make in traditional way le, hotels n shops r completing furiously, trying to outdone each other plus pricing is also rising. Yucks!!

Found some fancy design n packing when I went to taka orchard for mooncake tasting. Some r unique especially those from the westernized style shops.
Even my hubby is awed. Hehahah

I realize most of sg ppl still prefer traditional mooncakes. Taste BEST!!

Try to put in effort into makeup / beautify myself

There is a saying
“there is no ugly woman but only lazy ones”
means I need to brush up my makeup skills n put in more efforts.

Time to stock my makeup essentials n cleanser plus ample of sunscreen (high Ph++, I scare for freckles)
or shld I get some all-for-one BB cream; fads in Korean n NW here.
Hunts in Watson n awed by so many choices. I often seen on the street, females with flawless complexions I most envy. Found out to be one using a gd foundation, gd coverage & u too can be one of them.
Need to pay more attention to my grooming; schedule my threading freq, extra effort for my fizzy flyaway hair. Pamper myself with afew gd facial treatments choices. Ways to enhance my features. Matching my wardrobe, looking gd always at outside try photogenic. Hehahah

Gd choice or not

Shit it seem like I getting myself in another shit case or environment...
Bore n no prospect plus low entitlement n abit no respect ppl like. Sort of humiliating I find that, does nt suit the qualifications. Fuck off!
Dun know y I get in my mind to take up this offer… sad case. Like I said I didn’t ask for much... just give me a decent deal, n I will suck it up n be a gd one as u like.(do whatever I can). Only gd thing of it is location, damn near but nt the location Im looking for.
Hrs is longer than other, n here funds is so pathetic, bleed ppl dry, n hardly give ppl gd resources n cheap benefits. I feel like moving from condo to a shitty four/ three rm flat.

Tips to save $$

Man! i reali need to save money after buying a flat recently, totally wipe all my saving. SQ 1 again, hard leh, but reali reali need to tighten my belt.

Magazines always say "Save 10% - 20% of your take-home salary every month" it is a ideal range for saving .. if you have excess on certain months .. just deposit the excess into your savings. If there's no family commitment, I guess you can even increase it to 30%.

Separate savings and spending a/c - easier to prevent overspending. 2 days after payday, immediately Giro off a fixed sum into yr savings bank. Make it "ma fan" for you to withdraw money fm yr savings a/c by: Dun apply atm card on yr savings a/c. (gd one!)

Cut off your credit cards. This is the number one problem to zero savings. (I minimize to 2 credit cards; mastern visa. Try to use cash most of the time so it will be easier to manage my outgoing cash activites.)

Once you get a paycheck, put a certain amount of money that you think you NEED to survive the month. (Still trying veri hard for tat)

If you know that your meal/snack/teabreak is going to cost more than $8, stop. Find a cheaper alternative to eat (taking note).

No taking of cabs! (discipline myself to leave early, so i able to make my destination on time)

You are allowed to buy only ONE item that costs more than $50 each month as a way to pamper yourself, and it CANNOT be the same type of item that you have already bought in the last 6 months. There was a day I forgot to apply this on, and I realized my face was much oilier than usual.

As the title had spoken, it definately took the idea from Mac. It is a BK offer (one day onli from 11am onward). This time round im nt goin to join, cos sg ppl r too kasu. so wat is just a dollar (w no oblication of buying a meal) but with a super long queue, its just a waste of my lunch time. i guess im nt a 'hardcore' kasu plus it nt a new burger. It had been out for some time, i rather take their double fish filet meal for sgd4.50 but the taste is poor compared to Mac's.

Mac new burger nice

Here comes the new burger, cool.
Ver nice, jap fav, nice grilled; me fav part of chicken; thight w fresh veggies n sourdough bread. onli it is abit fatty w the skin on.
Mac is having a promo for this new burger from Mar01 - Mar07 (1-for-1 ala carte). in order to avoid 'Kasu' queue, i went for a mid-wk tasting w my colleagues. Although is crowded but lucky manageable. It is so tasty, that im thinking to bring my hubby along for wkend meal. hehahahah.
although is a promo but nt reali cheap if u add a drink n fries. (sgd 5.50 for 1-for-1 burger + med drink + med fries = SGD 10+)
I may nt go for it after this promo ends, is not i cheapskate but i think this burger meal cost SGD8, abt ex... wow...fast food resturant getting ex.

im stunned.. .. abit questioning abt the abilities of whitening soap.
cant believe there is reali a thing for whitening in soap form.. so long didnt use soap le.. nwasday ppl use showerfoam to bath. but i do know but dhc cleansing soap still prefer the oil solution in bottle, much convenice to use n keep.

Nw there is two famous brand of whitening soaps; Kojic Acid Soap, Likas Papaya Soap.
from what i unearthed, both can be used on body n face but can be drying somtime. So preparedyr moisture n lather. N alway rem to use sunscreen on face n neck (i alway believe if pdts with whitening properties make skin mre senstitive to sun)

Almond Cookies

Ingredients:
9 tbsp butter room temperature
2/3 cup confectioners' sugar/powdered sugar
1 egg yolk
8 ozs bleached all-purpose flour
A pinch of salt

Whole toasted almonds with skin
Dark chocolate, melted
Almond nips

How
Cream butter and sugar until light and creamy. Beat in the egg yolk and salt, cream until well combined. Add flour and mix until a dough is formed. Rest dough in the fridge for 30 minutes.
Take a marble-sized dough (I used a melon scoop), flatten and wrap around the almond. Shape into an oval cookie. Place on lined baking sheet and bake in preheated oven 350 f for 15 minutes.
Remove cookies to cool on cake racks. Melt chocolate in the microwave.
Coat cookies with melted chocolate by dunking cookies in the melted chocolate and removing them with a fork and place on cake rack. Top with almond nips before the cookies set.
Place cookies on small paper cases.

CNY in office

This yr, CNY celebration in office nt bad.
They got theme plus I think ample funds to hold a decent one.
I lve the buffet settings... all the nice food yummy! I like ‘Yu Sheng’ guess mostly is cos I get to eat the raw fish nt veri fancy for the other stuffs then.

They even invite lion dance to go each dept n do some stunts. Some of my colleagues ask them to do a favor to wish a gd luck or career for them. Fun I think.

Baked Rice

Easy version
Cook everything in the rice cooker (using an upper rack to steam the broccoli & potatoes) and then transfer the cooked rice to a baking pan in the oven. Though it is short cut, the baked rice still tastes good. It is a “double carbo” baked rice because there are two main carbohydrates component in it – potatoes and rice. Although double carbo sounds sinful, it’s actually very nice because the potatoes go well with the rice, plus it is really filling so I ate a smaller portion to be full.

Ingredients (Serves 3)
- 1 cup uncooked rice, washed
- 20g to 30g butter
- 5 garlic cloves
- 1 potato, peeled and sliced, 100g broccoli florets, stem trimmed
- 5 gourmet sausages (around 200g)
- 1 to 2 tbsp corn nibblets
- cream of mushroom (undiluted) /Japanese mayonnaise
- Shredded Mozzarella Cheese, optional Shredded Cheddar Cheese(abt 150g)
- Salt & Pepper

Directions
1. Using a microwave, melt butter to liquid (should be less than a min). In the rice cooker pot, add melted butter, washed rice, water to cook rice (I use slightly more than 1 cup of water – adjust the water amount according to your cooker), garlic cloves, salt and black pepper to taste. Stir well.
2. Using the upper rack of my rice cooker, I place broccoli florets and sliced potatoes. Be sure to leave some of the air vent open. If you don’t have an upper rack, you can steam them separately. Cook the rice mixture prepared in step 1 together with the upper rack of vegetables in the rice cooker.
3. When the rice is cooked, mash the steamed broccoli and mix it well into the rice. Then add in the cut sausages and corn nibblets. Mix everything well.
4. Portion out the rice into oven-safe baking dishes (you can also use disposable aluminium tray) until slightly more than half the depth of the dish.
5. Smear some mushroom soup sauce or Japanese mayonnaise on top of the rice.
6. Arrange steamed potato slices on top. Top it with a layer of shredded cheese. Baked in a pre-heated oven at 200C (392F) for about 20-25 minutes, or until all the cheese has melted and is very slightly browned.

U can tried this with different styles like hawaiian etc.
as long as there are pineapples and ham in a dish, the eateries will name the dish as “hawaiian” in the menu. Cliché as it may be, pineapple & ham is a tried-and-tested and wonderful food pairing nevertheless.

Relatives gathering

As I get older, I realized I dun reali like to go for all family + relatives gatherings.
Guess it is due to im nt reali close to them plus the awaked moments n questionings n some ‘gd-hearted advices’
Nt fun at all, I will sometime wish it end faster, guess im nt confident / proud with my achievements.

Republic of Steak

Republic of Steak is a steakhouse restaurant.

Given the name Republic of Steak, it feels wrong to order anything-other-than-steak. we decided to share a Republic Burger, When the waitress brought the burger to our table, our first reaction was: “you gotta be kidding me!”. The republic Burger is HUGE. For $12.90 nett, the set comes with a drink and one side (choose from coleslaw, broccoli, salad, baked potatoes, mashed potato, fries, potato salad, onion rings, buttered rice).
The size of the deep-fried onion floss probably made a difference to the overall image of the burger, but still, it was a 200gm beef patty topped with streaky bacon, melty cheese, crunchy lettuce and fresh tomato.

Republic of Steak is a pretty decent place for good western food, U can try the Angus steak ($19.90) and some of the other main courses like Norwegian King Salmon ($13.90), Pork Ribs ($18.90) and Breaded Chicken ($6.90).

The Melt & Sizzle Berries and Chocolate Pops; chocolate pop gave a sizzling sensation, and it felt as though the chocolate was dancing on the tip of my tongue.
Chocolate Sorbet. It was bitter, and much darker than the Imperial Dark (made of 95% Dark Chocolate) that I tried at Galta’s Gelato.

Banana Turon Y Crema with Blueberry
by Cotton Bleu (Serves 3-4)

Ingredients: 3 ripe bananas, peeled n halved lengthways, ½ cup brown sugar, 2 tbsp cinnamon powder, 5 pieces spring roll pastry, 4 scoops Vanilla Ice Cream 1 box fresh blueberries, ¼ cup caster sugar, 4 cups vegetable oil, for frying ¼ cup sliced almonds, toasted ¼ cup water.

Methods: Mix brown sugar with cinnamon powder and roll banana slices in the mixture. Individually wrap sugar coated banana halves in the spring roll pastry and seal the ends with some water. Heat vegetable oil in a shallow pan and quickly fry bananas on high heat till they turn a uniform golden brown. Cook blueberries in a pot with water and caster sugar until it achieves a soft, syrupy texture. Set aside and leave to cool and thicken. Cut fried banana pastry into halves and serve hot with a generous scoop of Häagen-Dazs vanilla ice cream topped with blueberry sauce. Garnish with toasted almonds.

Crepe making for yr light breakfast or a combination for yr dishes e.g. like wrap beijing duck even DESSERT.
Crêpe Mix: 1 cup Plain Flour, 1 pinch Fine Salt, 2 Eggs, 1¼ cup Milk.
To prepare the crêpe mixture, sieve plain flour and a pinch of salt into a mixing bowl and make a well in the centre. Add eggs n ½ cup milk, beat into a thick mixture. Gradually fold in ¾ cup milk, continue beating till mixture is smooth. Heat and brush a small pan with oil over medium heat, and ladle a bit of crêpe mixture in the centre. Swirl pan around so crêpe mix spreads over the entire surface. Gently flip crêpe when edges start to turn brown. Remove after a few seconds. Wow.. la! its Done!
