my hands r itched ...ah...

hehhahah.. once a while, I will tend to get this urge especially when I get my pay. I just simply get nt resist in goin through this materislic therapy; stepping into any stores. When this come, I just feel that I need to buy something(at a thing, if nt bulk hehhahaah if i could afford). Although I had to admit sometime when I'm feeling dwn, I also feel like shopping(as if it make me feel happier when I get a shopping bag on my hand) but I do cautious myself nt to shop when Im in this dwn mood(cos I usually end up w things that r useless to me)

in fact, it had been sometime since I got back from Utah trip, my shopping urge/itch is back. I was so high when one of the wives offered to take us(other wives) to town. wow.. hooray, i lve shopping especially my hubby is nt around. Cant stand his naggings/comments, though i often turned deaf ear but it does spoil the mood. I got my own shopping habits which clash w his(man n woman just cant shop together sometimes). Today was wonderful, I got a successful haul from my shopping. Pants from abercrombie, afew dresses from wetseal(second fav after forever21) n forever21. I also got some things from ROSS too.hehhahah n we reached hm just in time to cook dinner for my hubby. WONDERFULL!!!
I wish i could get this shopping trip often.

MBD Apple Polyphenol Mask

I lve it!!

Apple Polyphenol Mask since it was recommended for large pores.
The PRODUCT: Each mask is individually wrapped and soaked with essence – the Asian version of serums. You place the wet fiber mask over the face (holes for your eyes, nose and mouth) and leave it on for 20mins or more. There was some getting used to the “wetness” of the mask since it literally was dripping with essence – so I take the excess and apply it to my arms and neck. The Apple Polyphenol Mask smells lightly of Green Apple candy, which I found quite pleasant. It has a glycerin base, some parabens and one of the ingredients is Apple Extract – so there is actual apple in it. Not a natural product by any means – but pleasant all the same.

The RESULTS: The Apple Polyphenol Mask did a great job of hydrating my skin. This may cos skin a little itchy. I ended up rinsing it off and following with my normal routine. When I woke up in the morning, my skin was not oily and was very soft and glowing.
My Beauty Diary Apple Polyphenol Mask was not my favorite of the bunch, but was redeemed by its fresh, exhilarating scent and glowing results.
For best results, please use 2-3 times per week. (From box)

I bought it at SGD1.30 per piece at sunnanz, shipping and handling included.
Malaysian based www.mybeautydiarymask.com sells it for slightly cheaper. RM3 each.

roti prata

After trying it at one of hsewarming parties, my hubby loved it!! so do i!! taste like spore favour, heavenly!! hehahahah, ok I reali REALI MISS THE FOODS!!!!!
Immediately over the weekend, we went to the orient market to buy it, turns out alot of our ppl are doin so... wow... guess great minds think alike!! soon it is snatched up n gone in seconds..
We even buy the can of curry (recommended by his fnd; instant n less fussy, taste yucky.. even it is a sg brand.. cos is manufactured in other country). Ended up, we need to do w/o the curry n substitute it w sugar.
At here, it's hard to taste foods w authentic orient tastes specially sg favour... cos it a small town... nt veri populated compared to other states. Even the stores that sell Asian spices n foods r pathetic... nt much, can be easily counted by hands. Stores are small, n sorely lacking.. usually frozen foods, hardly any fresh ones. The orient mkt we went is considered big. At first, I went I cant help to feel disappointed cos I had to travel abt 45 mins - 1hr to town... nt much things i wanted. end up i dun know what to buy, as I slowly reconsidering my choices. I decided beggars cant be choosy... so i just take watever they sell n try( experiment) not many r nice, guess nt sg style.. kind of regret that i shld stk up of my food inventory b4 coming here.. cos i was pinning hopes that there is alot of asian stores in town area. (i learnt my lesson, in a painful way???)
miss all kinds of food in sg, plus i dun cook well( acks!!,.. i dun even cook in sg, in fact i started at here only, pitiful????) plus even i wan to learn here, hard to even find ingredients... damn...why...Y...!!!!??

Oreo Truffles

What You Need!
1 pkg. (1 lb. 2 oz.) OREO Cookies, finely crushed, divided
1 pkg. (8 oz.) Cream Cheese, softened
2 pkg. (8 squares each) BAKER'S Semi-Sweet Chocolate, melted
Make It!
MIX 3 cups of the cookie crumbs and the cream cheese until well blended. Shape into 42 (1-inch) balls.
DIP balls in melted chocolate; place on waxed paper-covered baking sheet. (Any leftover melted chocolate can be stored in tightly covered container at room temperature and saved for another use.) Sprinkle with remaining cookie crumbs.
REFRIGERATE 1 hour or until firm. Store any leftover truffles in tightly covered container in refrigerator.

Kraft Kitchens Tips
How to Easily Dip Truffles
To easily coat truffles with the melted chocolate, add truffles, in batches, to bowl of melted chocolate. Then use two forks to roll truffles in chocolate until evenly coated. Remove the truffles with forks and allow excess chocolate to drip back into bowl before placing truffles on prepared baking sheet.

Roll truffles in ground walnuts (or any ground nuts), cocoa, coconut, confectioners' sugar, candy sprinkles, etc.
To flavor truffles with liqueurs or other flavorings, omit vanilla. Divide truffle mixture into thirds. Add 1 tablespoon liqueur (almond, coffee, orange) to each mixture; mix well.

my first-owned netbook

this is one of many purchases we got from amazon.com. in fact, it is fairly easy to all sort of pdts in amazon.com n reasonably priced(we sort of hooked up) hehehhaha. this is the lifestyle ppl had in here, they hardly travel out to buy things(guess is troublesome to go all the way out just to buy a thing n with all the nice tv ads, when temp is freaking cold outside). Here shopping is quite different experience from sg, u can find all stores in one building. they r scattered, land is sparse n all in one storey.

anyway, I get to talk to my hubby in getting one of this latest tech; netbook(lighter n smaller than laptop; 10"). think is kinda of cute/ cool. looking up to most of the review, this brand is nt bad n got my colour seashell white.. hehahhaahh. http://www.eeepc1005ha.com/
since we r goin to travelling soon, he also got a softcase for me to snuggle along.
at here, getting wirless stuff is cheaper than sg. most of us r getting wirless keyboards n mouses. but since im not used to the wireless mouse, i took over my hubby old wired trusty mouse while he getting the new gadget. guess im too still abit old fashioned thinking toward technology pdts.
