vinegar uses

1. In your bathwater. Add ½ cup of vinegar or so to warm bath water when bathing and get double benefits – softer skin and a cleaner bathtub with less work!
2. Dandruff Treatment Simply pour a few Tablespoons of vinegar on your hair and massage into your scalp. Wait a few minutes, then rinse and wash hair like normal. Try this for a few days until you see results.
3. Weight Loss. Vinegar naturally helps to remove fat from the body - apple cider vinegar is especially good for this. Drink some in a glass of water a few times a day, and add a little lemon or honey for a nicer flavor. This will also help reduce your appetite.
4. Cracked, dry skin. Smooth a little vinegar on dried skin to help it heal.
5. Clean dentures Soak dentures overnight in Heinz White Vinegar, then brush away tartar with a toothbrush.
6. Facial spritzer mix 1/2 apple cider vinegar and 1/2 water into a spray bottle. Refreshing! Use as a skin cleanser as most soaps are alkaline as compared to skin ph.4. Rinse water for face - pour 1/8 cup in rinse water, rinse face and let it air dry, it seals the moisture in the skin (great for all over especially when weather is dry)
7. Hair Cleanser Take 1 cup of vinegar and warm water into a large glass and use to rinse your hair after you shampoo.
8. Toenail Fungus Treatment. Soak your feet in a strong solution of vinegar and water at least daily to get rid of toenail fungus.
9. I color my own hair and when I rinse, I rinse with warm water then I dilute white vinegar with water for the final rinse, as cold as I can stand. This seals your color so it doesn't fade out as quickly.
10. Nail polish will go on smoother and stay longer if you clean your nails with white vinegar before applying it.

11. Cleans Glass. Mixed with water or simply sprayed full-strength on glass and mirrors, vinegar does a great job quickly and easily. Simply wipe windows dry with crumpled-up newspapers and watch your windows sparkle.
12. Clean your car. Use it full-strength to polish car chrome with a cloth and see it shine! Use it on your car’s windshield and windows, too.
13. Cleans drinking glasses. Soak cloudy drinking glasses in warmed white vinegar for a few hours to remove the film, simply wipe clean, rinse, and dry.
14. Clean your washing machine. Periodically run a gallon of distilled vinegar through your washing machine to clean it thoroughly, get rid of soap scum, and clear out the hoses. Run the machine through the warm water wash cycle empty and then add the vinegar during the rinse cycle.
15. Furniture Polish. Make your own furniture polish with one part vinegar and three parts lemon oil or olive oil.

18. Clean paintbrushes Simmer paintbrushes in pure vinegar, then wash in hot soapy water.

25. Remove smoke smells from clothing Add a cup of vinegar to a bath tub of hot water. Hang clothes above the steam.
26. Remove stains from furniture and upholstery Remove stubborn stains from furniture upholstery and clothes. Apply Heinz White Vinegar directly to the stain, then wash as directed by the manufacturer's instructions.
27. Natural air deodorizer Heinz Vinegar is a natural air freshener when sprayed in a room.
28. Remove rust Soak the rusted tool, bolt, or spigot in undiluted Heinz White Vinegar overnight. 29. Toilet bowl Pour in one cup of Heinz White Vinegar, let it stand for five minutes, and flush.
30. Brighten fabrics Add a 1/2 cup vinegar to the rinse cycle.
31. Natural cleaning wipes A cloth soaked with vinegar for sanitizing kitchen counters, stove, and bathroom surfaces. This is just as effective as the anti-bacterial products and does not promote resistant strains like the commercial products can, this is also a cheaper and greener way to protect your loved ones.
32. Remove lint from laundry Add 1/2 cup of vinegar to the rinse cycle.
33. Remove grease from suede Dip a toothbrush in vinegar and gently brush over grease spot.
34. Fabric Softener Replacement. use vinegar in place of fabric softener the same amount as fabric softener plus twice the amount of water (so 2 parts water, 1 part vinegar) and put it in fabric softener dispenser. Clothes come out soft and scent free. It also helps reduce static.

46. Soothe an upset stomach Drink two teaspoons Heinz Apple Cider Vinegar in one cup water to soothe an upset stomach.
47. Mosquito bites Use a cotton ball to dab mosquito and other bug bites with Heinz Vinegar straight from the bottle.

foundation reviews

this is from a cool blog which i accidentally find it. so sometime, i just loook at her blog n c any nice updates. :)

Rimmel Lasting Finish Liquid
One of the top drugstore foundations. This foundation works on most skin types, oily, dry, to normal, n if you are looking for a stronger coverage with longer lasting abilities, this foundation is for you. The coverage is very good, it can cover up dark circles and blemishes very well. It blends wonderfully and gives a smooth finish. Limitation is the color selection. This foundation can settle into fine lines and in a humid climate, it can slip off easily.

L'Oreal True Match Liquid
L'Oreals top foundation, this is department store worthy. This has a more of a medium coverage, it's very buildable and blends beautifully. It has a very matte finish, not for dry skin. Recommend if you want a very buildable foundation and have oily to normal skin. You can see that it comes with this awesome transparent color selector, where you place this sheet over your skin, and the color patch that matches and blends the most invisible to your skin color is the color that you should select.

L'Oreal Visible Lift Line-Minimizing Oily Skin
This foundation softens fine lines beautifully, and does not settle into the lines or pores. The coverage is light to medium, and it has a powdery finish, so it's perfect for oily skin.

L'Oreal Bare Naturale Mineral Foundation
The coverage is excellent, you need just a little and it can double up as a concealer and it's very buildable. The color selection is wonderful, but the built in brush is poor quality. I recommend purchasing a separate brush for this foundation. Surprisingly, this foundation is excellent for both oily and dry skin. Bare Naturale is the best drug store mineral foundation.

Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Liquid
The liquid is wonderful for those who have oily skin, the coverage is medium. This gives a dewy finish without giving you that greasy look. Recommend L'Oreal if you are opting for anti aging.

Maybelline Pure Makeup Liquid
This is one of the best for oily skin. This product is oil free and is 50% water and provides great hydration. It has a medium coverage and has a matte finish. Recommend this product for people with oily skin during the summer, very similar to Clinque's foundations. Very light and clean with a natural finish.

Revlon ColorStay Makeup Dry Skin Liquid
This is one of Revlon's top selling foundation, their color stay line. It provides a medium to full coverage and gives a satin finish. It has SPF 15 and provides both yellow and neutral undertones. This is very long wearing, with little to no touch ups. Blending with this foundation is a bit difficult, you can't use a sponge. I use a brush and stipple the foundation instead because if you don't stipple it, it will look streaky unless you spend a few extra minutes carefully blending it away. Regardless, a top notch foundation from Revlon. Revlon provides to both oily and normal skin. So make sure you choose the right formula for your skin type. Hands down one of the best drug store foundations, it's right up there with the higher end products.

Revlon ColorStay Active Light Liquid
This foundation is perfect for those who are going clubbing or prom and need extra oil and sweat control. This foundation is water resistant, compare to Clinique's superfit. The coverage is medium and it blends decently. You may find yourself blending it a bit longer than other foundations, but it's worth it because the finish is dewy. I found that this product would work great for people who have oily skin to normal to dry skin.

Sally Hansen Airbrush Spray Makeup
The coverage is light to medium and is very buildable and very easy to blend. It gives you skin that satin look, and feels very light, like you are not wearing any foundation at all. This product is paraben free and is hypo allergenic, but they did add fragrance, which I am not a fan of. Compare this to Dior air flash, but at the fraction of the cost. You spray this foundation on your hand, and with a brush, apply it accordingly. So this is hands down my favorite foundation at the moment.

new enhancement

hi guys, im fine, getting used to it here. at least now is spring'like abit sg weather n temp 26 c. got a humidifier for my home (nvr heard of it in sg but here is needed), damn dry here. it is a household heater that fill the air with water mist. my hubby n i mainly use it when we sleep, sometime we even lazy to fill it up. i can wear my normal clothes n walk around.
communication wise is ok, both sides must speak abit slowly if nt cant hear properly, guess must be accents.
im now later then sg by a day. mmm... mmm... ... must check their calendar hehhahah to see whether is there any public holiday coming or long weekends (maybe can go on a short tour, hehee). i think here got public holidays more than sg.

here quite remote, i think i can go out shopping onli on weekend (sat, sun; abit tiring after long journey to n fro) must drive out veri far, need at least 1hr drive to get to there. maybe i should just go online shopping. nearby got fast food..., supermart, sch n other amenities like library, gym so on ... ... but they all close early. Some close at 4pm, the latest at 8. but this town is nothing, veri village no cab here.
here junk food veri cheap, like ice cream, cookies, chocolates, cakes etc.. they somemore even sell junks like family size. if u dun watch yrself, u will be obesity in no time. of cos they all taste marvellous wonderfully, wickedly sinful (better than sg). heheehhahah

dun reali have the heart to shop as I keep thinking usd veri ex, comparing the currencies strengths ; sg 1.5 = usd 1. we try to save lor, n nt buying much unnecessary things.

i got frnds said my hse look small in photo, i just laugh. i dun think i need a place too big to clean up for 2 of us living onli. my hubby start work as soon as he sort of settle his stuffs, left me alone in hse. so far no neighbour move in beside me. I can say it's bore la, but i cant fly back to spore anytime unless i pay my flight tic(it ex). It is nt even a mth yet, i guess i will try to suit myself to the environment n adapt to it. now i got 2 cards on my hand; id card n bank card, soon i will taking my foreign driving license.. Aarrrghhhh.... need to go through the theory test... Man!, is test again! sort of agitated driving here, although here is a relaxed pace.
wah asss.. ... here cable ex leh, we just buy the plan for Internet is already 50+ not including cable TV. here u buy tv, u need to subscribe cable in order to have channels to c unlike sg system.

ppl here are friendly n simple, u can leave yr things outside yr house n no one will steal it.
ohhh.. one thing here, when having fast food, reali must clear yr own tray cos no one will clear for u. there is one time i forget, after a few hrs still there. so paiseh. ask my hubby quickly clear. sure got pple see cos is lunchtime. i just hope no one rem my face
6-7 per meal for normal fast food if u got other requests, can add up to 10 bucks. n including tax.
onli fast food no need tips, but if fast food, i rather eat others. as other food portion is big n can share.

wont be back to sg any sooner since the air tix is ex. so will be back at next yr mar ba when my hubby finish his assignment.

my home in foreign ground

a small bungalow to ourselves, hehehaha (our housing agent say we r rich here now, since we told them onli rich ppl in sg got their own yard) I cant be bother w that much lawn moving, but will kena fine... ass come here to be gardeners. i counted the rooms we have, three of them.. this is an old estate compared to new ones (two-storey). my hubby bought those solar lamps, kinda of eerie at nite no street lamps, plus i got 2 trees one infront, one in my backyard.

we bought curtains ourselves as the house comes w/o them. the curtains are for own privacy n our hse direction got glaring sunlight shone upon us morn n evening. n simple furniture mostly from walmart. the sofa is from a second hand store, we bought cheaply. but it reali veri old, so we shop for gd sofa slip covers. end up, the covers are more ex than sofas itself.

We waited almost a wk to get our house ready. Alot of documentation work need to be done.
I must say setting up a new home is quite difficult. Everything need to buy... everyday we drove outskirt town to buy, mostly buy frm walmart. Walmart( a big supermart like our Carrefour / Giant) is our daily routine there. Here everything is tax abt 6-10% tax..... somehow like our gst, sian... nt included tips.... Now I must start cooking for our meals cos my hubby veri sick of fastfood n angmo food. Frankly speaking, i too get abit tired of eating that stuff... we had been eating out for a wk. Eating out here is nt cheap... also abt 10+ each meal, for both of us (we share, portions is big).
Here dun really got healthy eating habits... you need to watch yr diet n conscious of wat u eat. no wonder ppl so fat here...

i hope fervently there spring come faster, so cold here with that blasting cold winds. im totally ill prepared for it, cos i tot is spring time here, i even ship my winter clothes here (which takes time to arrive). *** Cross my fingers..***

freeezzing colddd.... Brrr...rrrr

so tired, ohh u can say my sleeping hrs is greatly distressed...
with such a long hrs, that dragged half of the day... sucks... ua is sucking, space is limited for economy, just like budget airline... food is pretty standard, stale.

there is 3 stops throughout my journey, all i can say sg airport is best got great shopping places, so much space for wandering around.. others are pretty boring, n standard.
First of the transit stop I land is narita Japan, Tokyo. I alway wanted to go there for tour, tot airport got huge shopping palace inside. Im greatly disappointed. mac there is superd ex, n small portion.
2nd one is San Francisco, almost the same. at there we waited almost 3hrs for our domestic flight... so tiring n boring. The domestic plane is like a private jet, nt much ppl. After that, we still need to take abt an hr ride to the place we stayed. My backside ache n kinda of hungry, dozing off here n there.

here, the winds is freaking cold. n here i tot spring had come, in fact nt really. I live in base camp so is ulu...but is veri big almost like a town of its own. We were placed in a hotel for the time being. cos the flight delay, we arrive our destination much later, no place is open, so we end up buying microwave dinner to settle our hunger pangs.
these few days, we need do all the admin stuffs, registering, things(docs) to let us settle down here, getting an id.
