Antique Bakery (西洋 骨董 洋菓子店, Seiyō Kottō Yōgashiten?, "Western Antique Cake-Shop") is a manga by Fumi Yoshinaga depicting the lives of four men who work in a small bakery. The manga was adapted as a Japanese TV drama, with the title Antique or Antique Cake Store, that was broadcast on Fuji TV in 2001 and a Korean movie. In the Japanese drama, there is a nice theme songf "Youthful Days" by Mr.Children.
This story is about four men who work in a confectionary. Tachibana Keiichiro (Shiina Kippei; Ji-hun Ju) is the owner; Ono Yusuke (Fujiki Naohito; Jae-wook Kim) is the superb baker that has a mysterious and mesmerizing aura; Kobayakawa Chikage (Abe Hiroshi; Ji-ho Choi) is the waiter and close clueless bodyguard of Tachibana; and last but not least is Kanda Eiji (Takizawa Hideaki; Ah-in Yu), the ex-boxer champion who loves cake so much that he becomes a waiter at 'Antique'. Ono has come a long way since the agonizing day in high school when he confessed his love to handsome Tachibana. Now, some 14 years later Ono, a world-class pastry chef and gay playboy has it all. No man can resist Ono's charms (or his cooking skills!) but he has just found a new position under a man named Tachibana. As an heir to the family fortune, Tachibana has money, the looks, the charm, everything except finding the love of his life. So he sets up a cake shop where women are sure to come.
This is a refreshing, yet heartfelt comedy about the 4 very unique personalities that work until the wee hours of the night at the small confectionary. The series follows the romance, family life, and most importantly friendship that these 4 men from different generations experience.
This is a confectionary with a "flavor" not like most. Located in the middle of an ordinary residential area, "Antique" stays open until 2 a.m. Every single thing in the shop is antique, in fact even the sherry glasses that water comes in look like they would cost 50,000 yen. On top of this, all the sweets that are sold are unbelievably delicious. The thing that is most peculiar about "Antique" though is that all 4 of the men that work here are very handsome, and each has an interesting unforgettable past that they are afraid to face, but their secrets slowly begin to unravel. . Those that frequent the store also have a story to tell.

i buy some accessories to stock up, clothes, n now waiting patiently for my orders from iherb to arrive..
lately i went to eat dimsum w my family @ lao beijing under "tung lung" group..
not bad... but abit ex on a side. i can voucher for things under "tung lung" wont go far off their taste, u just need to pay alittle bit more. One cant help to ingule in luxuries once in a while, to pamper yrself.
